The stairwell, which rocks by the way, is a metal stringer and railing combination. The treads are made from laminated doug fir. The cabinets were provided by IKEA. The countertops are made of concrete. The island was once the hardwood floor found in local nearby school that was torn down and salvaged as such. The floors are made of concrete. There are smaller areas that contain ceramic tile and carpeting. An elevator services the residents as a secondary mode of passage to each floor.
